One connected system for a legal practice
A South African legal practice was paying by the edit to update a seven-year-old website and chasing overdue accounts by hand. We rebuilt the site on WordPress, a platform already familiar to the client, customised it entirely including the backend, connected it to their practice management system, and automated the follow-up around it.
Paying by the edit for a site nobody could update.
MS&B, Inc. had run the same website for seven years with no way to edit it directly, paying roughly a thousand rand every time an article needed a change.
Overdue accounts got the same generic statement every time, sent from an address the firm no longer used, and clients mostly ignored it.
Marketing existed but depended on one person remembering to post it: LinkedIn, the client newsletter, and the website all went quiet for months at a stretch.
WordPress, a practice-system connection, and automation behind both.
We rebuilt the site on WordPress, with a backend suited to how MS&B actually edits and publishes, so no article needs an outside developer again.
We built a custom interface into the firm's own practice management software, the piece a debt collection idea had been stuck on, and put a personalised follow-up behind it: one reminder per overdue matter, invoice and statement attached, on a recurring cycle.
A set of content skills turns a single case write-up into branded output for the site and for LinkedIn, but nothing publishes without the firm's own sign-off first, the one step that has to stay human at a legal practice.
Website rebuild
Moved the seven-year-old static site to WordPress, with a backend built around how the firm actually publishes, so an article goes live without a call to a developer or a per-edit invoice.
Custom interface into the practice management system
Built a direct connection into MS&B's own business software, the missing piece that had stalled a debt collection idea at the audit stage, and the same connection any future automation against the firm's records can now run through.
Payment follow-up automation
Pulls the invoice and matter statement for each overdue account straight from the practice system, drops them into a personalised reminder, and sends it on a recurring cycle, in place of a generic statement from an address nobody reads.
Content and design skills
Turns a single case write-up into branded, on-voice output for the website and LinkedIn, staged for the firm's own sign-off before anything goes out under its name.
The firm edits, publishes, and follows up from one system.
MS&B edits and publishes its own site, with no developer and no per-article invoice.
Overdue matters get a personalised reminder on a set cycle instead of a generic statement nobody reads.
A single case write-up now becomes a week of branded content across the site and LinkedIn, rather than a blank page whenever someone remembers to post.
